IPG MGCF
Introduction
MGCF(Media Gateway Control Function) is a system which interconverts telephone signal and voice signal so that IMS network, an IP-based next generation telephone network can be connected to the existing PSTN-based telephone network with the standard node in IMS network.
IPAGEON’s IPG MGCF system complies with MGCF requirements in 3GPP IMS standard, so it has an excellent interworking compatibility with other systems. It is also interworked with P-MGW (Private-MGW) in addition to the basic function interconverting the telephone signal and voice signal between IMS network and PSTN network, and it provides the function which can directly interwork PRI and R2 PBX without PSTN exchanger. Therefore, this system is multi-function solution which 100% meets the business environment and requirements of business operator.
