Introduction

APMS (AP Management System) is a system which supports the remote configuration and state management function for WiFi AP which internet service provider installs in the customer, and it provides the function to monitor and manage the state of AP which has been already registered as well as to manage the automatic communication opening of AP.

IPAGEONON’s IPG AMPS provides functions to remotely change the configured information of AP which has been registered or to upgrade the firmware, therefore it facilitates to manage the functions or versions for more than hundreds of thousands of APs, and it provides the chances to improve the quality of customer service through the wireless quality control function of WiFi AP.

  • Management of device automatic opening
    It is easy to manage AP communication opening because AP which has been installed in the customer downloads the configured information needed from network when it is Power ON at the starting stage and configures it automatically, and it supports the automatic communication opening function which enables to use internet service immediately.
  • Remote setting management
    Because operator can search or change the configured information of AP remotely, it is easy to manage AP, especially it enables to monitor the state information of wireless channel or set the less interfered wireless channel, therefore provides the chances to improve the quality of customer service.
  • Flexible system extendability
    One set of system can manage AP not less than 100,000 units and can manage AP up to 1,000,000 units just by building more H/W, therefore the early investment cost is low and it allows for reasonable investment according to the increase in subscribers.
  • Minimizes service down time
    This system supports duplication for modules which affect the services such as L4 load balancing, duplication of server, duplication of DB, etc, and therefore minimizes down time of services.
  • GUI-based operational environment
    It is provided with GUI-based system operating management function, which enables operator to operate and manage the system easily and conveniently.
